During my undergraduate studies, I interned with various counties in Colorado where I was introduced into many different areas of the legal field. After graduating from Metropolitan State University of Denver in 2018 with a dual degree in Political Science and International Law, I started my Paralegal Career in Immigration Law where I worked for a Solo Attorney for two years. During this time, I passed the Paralegal Exam and took on a new learning opportunity in Litigation Law for a firm based out of Colorado. After learning the new procedures involved in Litigation, I have learned the importance of procedure in different areas of law and have been able to expand my knowledge while working as a Paralegal for Smith Jadin Johnson, PLLC.
Immigration law has been the steppingstone for my dedication to helping people while pursuing my dreams of being in the legal field. At SJJ, the importance of teamwork and education has become the motivation for my current role and has pushed my skill set, knowledge, and education to grow and develop to better serve our clients and Attorneys.
During off hours from the office, family is always my number one priority. I also enjoy hiking with my dog and enjoying the beautiful nature scenery the world has to offer.
