“I believe that quality legal representation starts with a good understanding of client goals, continues with prompt communication, counseling, and thorough research, and finishes with tenacious legal advocacy to achieve the best possible results.”

Jeff was born and raised in Kansas City. He received his J.D. with honors from the University of Minnesota Law School in ’11. Shortly thereafter, he spent three years as a law clerk for the Honorable Mark M. Starr in Hibbing, Minnesota. He then spent two years working for an insurance defense law firm in Minneapolis on behalf of many national insurance carriers on a variety of subjects. Jeff joined Smith Jadin Johnson in October 2017 where he has since focused his practice on representing every day insureds, homeowners’ associations, and contractors with their legal issues.

He practices in the following areas:

  • Insurance Appraisals and Litigation
  • Insurance Coverage Disputes
  • Construction Litigation
  • Community Association Law

When not working, Jeff enjoys football, skiing, soccer, and traveling. He is a diehard Chiefs fan.
